Qatar accused of ‘eradicating’ Bahá’í minority

Qatar has been accused of “eradicating” its Bahá’í religious minority, with families living in the country for decades facing imminent expulsion. More than 40 per cent of the small Bahá’í population is being targeted for deportation in a “deliberate campaign of religious erasure”, the Bahá’í International Community (BIC), a non-governmental organisation, said.
