Belfast suspect entered three safe countries before claiming UK asylum

The Belfast attack suspect passed through three “safe countries” before claiming asylum in the UK, the Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) has revealed. Hadi Alodid, 30, the Sudanese man accused of launching a knife attack on Monday night, is believed to have flown through Egypt, France and Ireland before claiming asylum in Belfast.
