Israel Police break tradition of coordinating Jerusalem Ramadan rules with Waqf Al-Aqsa guards

Police summoned the head of the Waqf, who answers to the Jordanian government, to a police station in East Jerusalem, instead of meeting at the compound. Sources said the sheikh was told that going to the police station would constitute a violation of the status quo
