Rory McIlroy fears LIV’s “false economy” will reduce great tournaments to second-rate status and believes it might be better for the PGA Tour to stick to its “old ways”. LIV is fighting for survival after the Public Investment Fund announced it was withdrawing its funding at the end of this season, but the Tour is planning to radically overhaul its structure regardless.
