Rise in families using Nigerian surrogate mothers

Nigeria has become the second-most popular destination for English parents choosing foreign surrogate mothers, official figures have revealed. The number of applicants applying to become parents of babies born to Nigerian surrogate mothers has risen nearly tenfold in the past decade, the Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service (Cafcass) disclosed.
