Teenage rapists fined just £26

Three teenage boys have been spared jail and “fined” just £26 despite raping girls as young as 14 in three separate cases, it has emerged. The three – all involved in cases in the North East in the past year – were given youth rehabilitation orders, the same punishment as that handed out to the three rapists in the Fordingbridge case whose sentences have now been referred to the Court of Appeal as “unduly lenient”.
