Russian toddlers learn patriotism with toy guns and military uniforms

Russian children as young as three will start state-backed military-patriotic lessons later this year, the Kremlin has announced. The lessons, which will be known as “kind games”, are an extension of the “conversations about important things”, compulsory weekly lessons rolled out in 2022 for older students on “national unity, patriotism and traditional values”.
