Doom-mongering Anthropic is reaping what it sowed with AI ban

The Trump administration has knocked the rest of the world’s AI planning sideways by imposing an export ban on Anthropic’s latest, much-hyped models: Mythos and Fable. It has done so reluctantly after Anthropic refused to fix what officials saw as serious safety issues, said David Sacks, the well-connected former White House AI tsar.
