Parents charged with murder over obesity death of 18-stone son, aged 7

The parents of a seven-year-old boy have been charged with murder, child abuse and torture after their son weighed more than 18st at the time of his death. Casper O’Brien, seven, died on Nov 4, 2025, after paramedics and police responded to a 911 call from his Michigan home reporting that he was not breathing.
