Chinese AI from blacklisted tech giant used by Ministry of Justice

Chinese AI blacklisted by the White House has been used by the Ministry of Justice (MoJ), The Telegraph can reveal. David Lammy’s department used an AI model created by tech giant Alibaba to analyse criminal records, in what was the first-known use of a Chinese AI system within Whitehall.
