Taiwan risks Xi’s wrath with Trump phone call

When Donald Trump stepped back on to Air Force One at the end of his state visit to Xi Jinping’s China, there was one person he wanted to call. “I have to speak to the person that right now is, you know who he is, that’s running Taiwan,” he told reporters on the plane.
