Top civil servant must be probed over China links, says former MI6 boss

The former head of MI6 has said a top civil servant must be investigated after he discussed Britain’s nuclear deterrent with a think tank that has ties to China’s spy agency. Sir Richard Dearlove said Parliament’s intelligence committee should “scrutinise” meetings attended by Stephen Lillie, the Foreign Office’s former defence chief.
