Iran has threatened to destroy energy sites across the Middle East after Donald Trump gave the regime 48 hours to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. Tehran said it would target energy and oil infrastructure, with Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Iranian parliament’s speaker, warning that oil prices would “rise for a long time” as a result.
