Man charged with five counts of attempted murder over Edinburgh attacks

A man has been charged with five counts of attempted murder linked to terrorism after a series of attacks took place in Edinburgh. Lewis Hawkes, 36, appeared in Edinburgh Sheriff Court over the incident, which Sir Keir Starmer previously said appeared to be motivated by “anti-Muslim hatred”.
