US belongs at the ‘bottom of the sea’, says Iran’s supreme leader

Iran’s supreme leader has said American forces around the Persian Gulf belong at the “bottom of its waters”. Mojtaba Khamenei, who is yet to appear in public since assuming leadership, issued a written statement marking Persian Gulf Day, his first major policy pronouncement on the waterway crisis.
